Our group, in collaboration with the Tianjin International System for Nanosystems and Nanoparticles (TICNN), created the first functional semiconductor made entirely from graphene. Semiconducting epigraphene (SEG) has an electron mobility of 5000 cm2/Vs, 3 times larger than silicon and larger than other 2D semiconductors.

SEG is a large-scale patternable platform for 2D electronics on a commercially available 200mm-diameter SiC substrate (a substrate widely used in industry).
